Millbrae, One Community

The Millbrae Education Foundation (MEF) recently created the Millbrae, One Community COVID-19 Relief Effort to help the most vulnerable members of our community during a very trying time in all our lives. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, members of our school communities and more largely, within our larger Millbrae Community, are facing hardships due to illness, job loss, and/or financial hardships.

In collaboration with the Millbrae School District, our MSD school PTA/PTO organizations, and many local organizations, we hope to provide support and resources to members of our school community who need assistance. A few ways we are hoping to support our community:

  • Immediate financial support (in the form of gift cards to local grocery stores and pharmacies) for valid members of our school communities.
  • Resources to food banks, county aid, mental health assistance, etc.
  • Local business “give back”: Are there services or goods struggling businesses can package or offer at a discount that can be purchased for Relief Effort applicants?
