MEF Gala 2023 was a success!

We raised $253,000 towards the MEF Fundraising Goal!

The Silent Auction had over 200 items, including Summer camps, Community Experiences, Restaurants and Hotels, Teacher-led experiences, and many more.

We Believe in Millbrae Kids!

The Annual MEF Gala and Auction celebrates our children and our schools and is our biggest fundraising event of the year. This celebration brings parents, teachers, school administrators and city leaders from all over Millbrae together to show their generosity, kindness and amazing sense of community. Last year, our gala & auction raised $154,000.


At the event, we will be hosting a live auction (items announced once finalized) along with our Fund the Future program. We hope that all attendees consider some level of participation to help MEF continue to fund the teachers and staff we need for essential programs such as music, PE and academic support.

The Night's Agenda:

5:00 pm: Welcome Reception and Check-in

6:30-8:00 pm: Sit down dinner, exciting live auction, featuring exclusive packages only available to Gala attendees

8:00-11:00 pm: Dessert, coffee, photo booth, live music from band Top Secret, and dancing

Your finest upscale 80s cocktail attire is encouraged for our night of believin’!  Recognition during the evening for Best 80’s Outfit!

If you can’t attend, you can still give to MEF. Your tax deductible cash donation will go towards helping Millbrae kids soar.

Volunteer at the next Gala
